I've spent most of my Fourth of July holiday getting video clips uploaded and running with embedded posts to the blog. I've wanted to do this routinely, but until this morning the whole process has been anything but routine. ( I've got a running commentary on the various stumbling blocks to this process here, here, here, here, and here.) But this morning the dam broke, and now I've got it down to the biggest bang for the buck.
I've got a fairly big backlog of video to get into shape for posting online, going back to the end of last year when I taped Zonkaraz playing 18 songs at Ralph's. I've also got several hours of the Danelectros playing in MacDuff's living room, along with more songs from last Saturday's show at the Hotel Vernon. Chances are good that I'll also be coming up with clips every week on the scrote-cam in the taxi, too. So, getting the backlog of video cleared out is going to be my summer priority. I want to be up to date when Zonkaraz gets back together for their autumn reunion concert.
