UFO's

Unidentified Flying Objects are easy to photoshop. This one was hovering over the Honey Farms at Grafton Square early this morning when I went out for the paper.

I'm not sure what to make of the UFO phenomena. There's plenty of websites with pictures and testimonials, though, so it's apparent that there ARE phenomena... but any "phenomenon" that recurs on this planet has to be measured, tested, cut with a buzz-saw, and fully quantified before the scientists will even admit that it might have happened.

And all of us ordinary folks who are living our day to day lives have to be able to walk up to the thing, see it, touch it, and really experience it before we'll say, "Yup, it's real." Until that happens, it's just a matter of faith.

Now don't get me wrong. I've seen how strong faith can be in some people. Faith can move mountains and change the course of mighty rivers. If it wasn't for faith, none of us would be looking forward to a revitalized downtown.

But there's another type of UFO that bothers me. This would be the Unrealized Financing Objective.

This phenomenon can be walked up to, touched, and really experienced.

Just go down to 100 Front Street and take a look for yourself. This UFO is REAL...
