The Clock

It's difficult to make out, but that dark skinny object with the bulbous top, just to left of center in the picture, is a four-faced clock that has magically appeared in the middle of the picther's mound they've built in Washington Square.


It's a very ornate piece.

If you absolutely can't avoid it, and you have to go through the construction zone, then you have to slow down and safely turn your head to the center of the new rotary for a split second to see this thing.

Be forewarned, it's a dangerous maneuver just to glance at it,, never mind try to take a picture of it with a cellphone camera.

The clock is just begging to be photographed close up, however.

I wonder how much it cost?

Update: it looks like somebody already did get a nice picture of it
