Forget about melting polar icecaps, a much more immediate problem is the rink ice underneath the basketball court at the DCU center. Who could've possibly foreseen the REAL fallout from climate change?

too funny.. we were there. What a drag. But the hoodlums of Worcester made sure the DCU knew they were angry only after going to get kevin Garnetts signature.
I was there Friday night and I have to say that it was quite the scene. From the get go I noticed that security was minimal given the large attendance. Also, the vendors didn't seem well prepared; There were long lines, food was scarce and patience short. I almost felt as if they didn't want to make money.
While the staff at the DCU or the City can't do much about the weather I do hope that the condensation issues are a catalyst for a larger conversation about event management and preparation. The Celtics and other big name attractions are our hook for bringing people to Worcester - our goal should be to ensure that they leave having seen a great show and had a great experience.
