This is the first time I've actually seen the painters working on the mural.I had begun to think that they only worked on weekends, but apparently not. You can tell that it's a city job, though, cuz there's one person working while the other person stands there and chats on the cell phone.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished mural. It'll be nice to have the Green Street Bridge sporting a message on it again. Personally, I'm glad that the city didn't sell the naming rights to the bridge, despite the iconic Oilzum sign that was there for so many years, which has now become one of those things that's fondly remembered. I mean, can you feature a big sign saying "Washing Machine Bank" or something like that up there?
