Lukes Spotting

I was outbound on Pleasant this morning, and coming into Newton Square I saw a huge traffic jam, flashing blue lights, and an accident scene over at the outbound Pleasant Street entry to the square. Since Pleasant Street was blocked, my entry into the square was a piece of cake.

Even better, Konnie and her husband Jim were standing in a spot where I could drive right up to them and stop!

Now that I've finally spotted Konnie campaigning out there on the street, the only Mayoral candidate I have yet to spot is Bill Coleman.

Truly, getting all these pictures of candidates is more fun than collecting baseball cards!

I had to keep an eye on the traffic situation, knowing that the dam could burst into the square from all the backup on Pleasant at any moment, so my stop didn't last very long at all.

But it did last long enough to get another picture.

This is about as wormtowntaxi as it can get, not only having the Mayor peek into the passenger side window of the cab, but also having her know who I am.

It would've been great if I could've actually had more than a few seconds there, but the traffic loomed and I did have a fare to pick up on Ivanhoe Road, so this stop only lasted about ten seconds.

One more week to the election!

It looks like she left the Lukes mobile there, too.
