More Honey-Do

I assembled the third piece of do-it-yourself furniture today, and carried it upstairs to Kathy's stuff room.

This one was from the same manufacturer as the other bookcase from yesterday, so it went a lot faster (their unique hardware still being fresh in my mind).

Unlike the first bookcase, though, this one came with a separate bag full of spare parts. And the main bag of parts had extras of everything. Go figure, eh?

I thought that today would end up being involved with just this one item, but as luck would have it, such an uneventful Sunday was simply not in the cards. Just before I was ready to put together the bookcase, the main drain for the house backed up and a couple of gallons of water seeped out onto the basement floor while Kathy was taking a shower.

Snaking that drain is a fairly simple task, but it is a time consuming one... and it's not a particularly pleasant one, either.
