I ran across this article on Boston.com this morning. 291 foreclosed properties will be offered for sale at auction at Hynes Auditorium in Boston on November 10th and 11th. There's a link to see all the properties that will be up for sale. There are fifteen in Worcester, one in Grafton, one in South Grafton, and one in Shrewsbury.
I didn't find any for Auburn, Millbury, Boylston, West Boylston, Holden, or Paxton, so that makes a total of 18 foreclosed properties in Worcester and its bordering towns that, for just this one auction, the banks are trying to sell right now. That's six percent of the total properties around the state... Does this mean that the heart of the commonwealth is still pumping?
