Nice Falcon

We were stopped at the Plantation Street light on Belmont this afternoon.

I just had to to get a picture of it.

This looks like a 1965 or 1966, I'd guess.

My memory for 1950's and 1960's car model/year ID's has certainly faded, though.

Anything after the early 1970's and I'm completely lost...

There's a place in my heart for production cars that you could work on yourself, though.

This car was truly in great shape, and brought back some memories. I used to see Ford Falcons on the road all the time. They were everywhere. They were called "compact cars" back then, if I'm not mistaken. Also, "economy cars" was a phrase that comes to mind.

There's something very heartwarming to me about seeing a blast from the past like this. When it's in a setting that isn't affected by some local "vintage car" event (such as the Summer Nationals where it's almost commonplace for a few days), it's truly a rare sight.

Gotta strong hunch that it's a 64.
Remember the Corvair?
