Ouch!

At noon today, a state police cruiser was stopped in the middle lane of I-290 eastbound, right at the 190 split. In front of him was a sedan that had rear-ended a trailer truck.

The trailer truck had pulled over to the breakdown lane, a couple of hundred yards up the road.

Since I was going out 190, I suddenly found myself in a perfect position to snap a picture. This one, amazingly enough, came out pretty good. Usually, I come home each day with a dozen pictures that are no good because I'm not concentrating on the shot, I'm concentrating on the road.

Judging by the amount of totally irrational driving I see on the road every day, it's certainly amazing to me that I don't have this sort photo-op on an hourly basis.
