What it finally comes down to is the reality adjustment that takes place when one realizes all is not quite as it seemed.
The two things I learned from this article in the T&G this morning are that Grace Ross and at least two representatives of the Jewish community in Worcester are talking, and that the anti-semitic source of local Green Party platform issues comes from, among others, a fellow named David Rolde.
So... I googled the guy's name... I found a lot, but this blog entry on Solomonia is especially informative and in depth.
While Grace Ross may have allied with the Massachusetts Green Party as a marriage of convenience in her run for governor, it would be in her best interests to dissolve that affiliation pretty darn quick, in light of that group's clearly anti-semitic leadership. Personally, I had no idea that the Massachusetts state level Green Party was being led with such a fervent focus on anything unrelated to environmental (read: green) issues.
I mean, "GREEN" party always scored the "identify with the environment, eco-friendliness, save the Earth" types of things for me. Martin Solomon's blog entry (linked aboved) about the local leaders of the Massachusetts Green Party, however, is truly a reality adjustment for me.

Antisemitism is increasing on the left, and it scares the hell out of me. This is but one example out of many that abound today.
