Each week, Martin Milner and George Maharis would spin down Route 66 in that Corvette convertible for a new adventure.I wanted one of those two-seaters in the worst way!
I finally ended up with a '56 T-bird for a while... during 1968, I think it was, but I only had it for a few months. It had the removable hardtop with the small opera windows, three speed standard, and geared for the street... definitely not a highway car.
It wasn't a Corvette, but it sure was a chick-magnet!
