All day long, it had been a grey, bleak, raw and rainy day. Then, just as I was pulling into the gas station at Gardner Square, around 2:30 this afternoon, a ray of sunshine poked through from behind the clouds. That was just the beginning.
By the time I had fueled up and turned the cab in for the night driver, it had suddenly turned into a nice day.
But it just got better...
I got home from work to find that Kathy had whipped up yet another great dish from the Moosewood Cookbook.
Kathy's been making dishes out of this cookbook ever since this summer when we re-discovered this classic compendium.
It was one of the cookbooks that Princ used at the Garden of Delights, all those years ago.Every time Kathy tries a new selection, it brings back great memories of those days on Highland Street.
So, today may have started out bleak, and it may have looked bleak for most of the day, but it sure is winding up to be a great afternoon and evening!

I just bought that too! I have made a soup and the broccoli, garlic and black beans too. So happy to rediscovered the book.
