Garage Update

The T&G has a pleasantly written article about the progress on the Union Station Garage today, written by Shaun Sutner. He got a nice quote...

It isn't just a garage, it's an adventure cruise down the Blackstone Canal!!!

I want to be there when they open the canal, and watch this behemoth steam its way down to Kelly Square.

First stop, the Kelly Square Yacht Club, where passengers can catch a glimpse of various local musicians entertaining the proletariat...

In years to come, as the canal continues to be re-opened to various ports of call, the next stop will be the EPA's new multibillion dollar sewerage treatment plant, where travellers will be able to see all the latest technology in sewage treatment.

After that, who knows what other incredible tourist attractions will be dreamt up to bring the gentry to our fair city?

And what did Julie A. Jacobson, the assistant city manager, have to say about all the plans for the future?
