Wow, I can't believe I missed this either. I remember hearing about a group of kids who had made their own Raiders of the Lost Ark. LINK But I had no idea some local kids had done the same with a Star Wars film. That's cool!
I dunno man. This is essentially a shot-for-shot remake from back in a time when VCRs didn't exist. They would have had to have seen the movie several times a week to memorize all the shots, and then how would they have had time to get all the work done in one summer?. Still, if this is a hoax it's still pretty cool.
