Vista SP1

Windows Vista is still not ready for prime time, even after the release of Service Pack 1. But this is no surprise if you're at all aware of the most under-reported story concerning Microsoft Windows over the past decade. If you do a little research, you'll find a coincidence... Right around the same time that the Clinton administration sicced the Justice Department on Microsoft, the NSA began "advising" MS developers on how to make Windows "more secure".

It's a no-brainer to deduce that the government wants to have a back door into the most prolific operating system on the planet. I really have no problem with this, quite frankly. But the application of built in security-breaking obviously conflicts with any other efforts at establishing just the opposite for individual computers running the OS. It also has clearly taken a toll on the increasingly unwieldy nature of Windows, culminating in Vista's ongoing problems.

If the government wants to look at everything I have on my computer, all they have to do is ask. But their insistence on trying to do it without anybody finding out simply does not work... QED.
