WFD - New Station update

It was only last August that I wondered how long it would be before we saw a fire station here.

Work has been progressing really fast, lately, and I've tried to keep up with it here.

I go by this worksite so often, though, it's one of those situations where I don't pay much attention to the familiar scenery unless something changes so drastically that I can't help but notice it.

This morning, I went out to do a couple of errands, and also to take some pictures up at the movie site, so I had my cameras with me when I headed back to the house and got to this spot when it dawned on me... BOING! Hey, I haven't shot any pictures here in a month!

When this started, I thought how great it would be to come down to the same spot at the same time of day every day, or maybe every week, and take one shot... then, after the building was finished, put them all together for a time lapse video clip. But my attention span is so short these days that even though I did run right down there and got the first shot, I had completely forgotten about it until just now.

I guess that kind of stuff will have to be left to the younger and more intrepid...
