Councilor Germain Should Immediately Resign

Based on media reportage here, here, and here, I believe that Worcester City Councilor Michael J. Germain has egregiously bypassed the entirety of any and all processes in our Plan E form of government, belligerently given serious affront to the entire Council, the Chairman, and the City Manager by bypassing them entirely in his direct challenge to the Chief of Police over this policy decision, and clearly demonstrated a complete absence of qualification for holding office by his actions in this matter over the past two weeks. His actions are especially egregious in going onto a public forum with this matter on WCRN radio yesterday.

He should resign from the City Council immediately.

I'm not sure what else people expected from a candidate who once questioned why councilors draw healthcare from the city. Easy for him to say, seeing as his is covered already as a reward for his decision to get drunk, drive, and crash his car.

Jeff, This REALLY bugged me. I read your links and got upset. You did not follow thru like you should have,I thought you were the Wormtown Reporter!!. Anyhow,, I made some calls and found some phone numbers to complain to.I am not gonna sit back and have this guy spend my tax $ on stupid S*IT.To complain,, the Mayor's Office is 508-752-5822 and the City Councilers Office is 508-799-1175. I allready called to complain, and they had no idea what to do with me. If more people call and they STILL have no idea what to do,,,, I think something "Might" get done. They said they NEVER had a complaint for a Counciler before,,, (LMAO),So all the Wormtownblog fans that are dishearted with our City Government,, CALL NOW !!!!

Well, I'll leave the political action to you, Dean. I'm just a pisser and a moaner, myself, added to which I hope my REAL "agenda" is understood: to merely expose my twisted viewpoints to the world...

Besides, if I called City Hall to complain, I'd have to try and sound serious.

I don't think I could pull it off.
