WCCA-TV13

It is absolutely beyond belief that the City of Worcester cannot provide a document that was voted on and passed by the Cable Advisory Committee on August 19th.

Now we find that, after ten days, the City Dictator still can't produce the document and send a copy of it to the one organization in the city that this report will have the greatest impact on! Instead, he sends this vapid collection of non-information to them!

This crap has been going on for months! Why can't the people at WCCA-TV13 get a straight answer, fer cryin' out loud?!?!

I"m gonna tell it to ya straight: I hardly ever watch channel 13. Why? Because I'm white and I'm middle class and I've had all the access to anything I ever might have wanted throughout my entire life. But the public access channel in this city is the ONLY media access that's here for those who don't have a voice, those who don't know anywhere else they can speak their message, and it's been there for them for over two decades of truly exemplary performance. Our city cable access channel is an example of how it was intended to be when the original cable access laws were written.

To have the City Dictator treat them like this for months on end is truly beneath contempt.

This is what they get for asking for documents that should have been made available to them in a public meeting. The old side step. I noticed there was no mention of why the city did not forward the documents that were approved on the 19th or the minutes WCCA asked for.

Goofy Mr. Dictator isn't he cute?
