The WoMag Memo, cont'd

Following the posting of yesterday's memo by Gareth Charter, the T&G leapt upon the story for this morning's paper.

Charter chose to open his memo with scathing remarks about the T&G, such as, "...a poorly done story by the T&G (we might as well get used to that).." and "As the T&G declines in revenue, readers, pages, employees, morale, and thus … relevance, we have an enormous opportunity."

From where I'm standing, it looks like Gareth Charter has thrown down the gauntlet at the outset. This is apparently going to be an advertising sales war.

We'll have to wait and see if he can write anything besides memos, however.
