Hot for Sarah

When I first saw Sarah Palin giving her speech at the Republican National Convention, I had my Sarah moment. But I'll admit that my first impressions of her were driven more by the little head than the big head.

I got over it pretty quick, though. It's not difficult.

Lots of jounalists, apparently, aren't able to get over it as easily, though. Dianne Williamson's head is still spinning. And most of the rest of the mainstream media seems to be just as unable to detach themselves from this phenomenon, as well.

I would venture to guess that it's probably a lot more difficult to get past Sarah Palin's sexual attractiveness if you're single. In my case, I'm happily married to the girl of my dreams. But if I was still single, I suppose I might still be trying to fight my way past a spinning head over Sarah Palin at this late date, too.

And if I was Dianne, I'd probably still be unable to write anything about Sarah Palin besides the drivel she wrote in today's column. Sarah Palin is, after all, the first woman in the history of America who stands a real chance of someday occupying the oval office. If I was Dianne, I would still be so torn, my head would still be spinning thus, and I would find myself unable to focus on the real issues of this candidate... even after having ample opportunity to find out what's really wrong with Sarah Palin.

It's okay, Dianne. I do understand. You probably need another week or two to get past that pretty face.

When you finally do get past it, though, maybe then you can focus on Sarah Palin the pseudo-Christian nazi who wants to fire librarians for refusing to ban books. Maybe then you can focus on Sarah Palin, the unprincipled, vindictive liar who abuses her elective authority to illegally misuse her staff for personal vendetta. Maybe, just maybe, Dianne, you can hurry up and stop your head spinning soon enough to recognize that Sarah Palin may very well turn out to be the most dangerous political figure to show up in national politics since Huey Long.

Well said. I think her look do distract many people, McCain included. But I can not deal with lie after lie. I can not deal with a woman that wants to make it so I and other woman can not choice what to do with our bodies. I can not deal with someone that in January wants to be laying pipe in Alaska. This woman is a maniac and I can not grasp what will happen to this country if she was 2nd in comand.
