Well, today's the day that I've looked forward to since last spring: seeing a working wind generator on the hill to the southwest, a mile away from my house.
Holy Name High School's new wind generator is now generating electricity.
Kathy and I first spotted the blades turning as we drove west on Route 20 this morning, and came down the hill next to where the old Edgemere Drive-In used to be. What a sight!
When we got home, I shot this video clip...

I want to drive up there right now to just see it. Looks like it is catching more wind than should be possible and I'm even more excited to see that. Thanks for posting this Jeff!
