Palin the Prevaricator

Over two weeks before Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's running mate, Alaska was already wrapped up in the story of their governor lying about her long pitch for vengeance against the man who divorced her sister.

When Palin's ex-brother-in-law's boss, Walter Monegan, refused to fire trooper Wooten, she fired Monegan. Then, to make matters worse, she claimed over and over again that the firing had nothing to do with her ex brother-in-law, or that she or any of her staffers had ever put any pressure on Monegan to fire Wooten.

Flat out lies.

Here's a TV news report from Alaska that was posted to YouTube two weeks before anybody even had a clue that Sarah Palin would be picked as McCain's running mate:

Yesterday, this ABC news report was posted to YouTube which also includes reports that the Repugnicans are now doing everything they can to prevent the current ethics investigation into Palin's firing of Monegan from releasing its findings until after the election in November.

But this isn't the first time that Sarah Palin has been so willing to abuse her authority in office. She went on a firing rampage after being elected Mayor, too.

We already have an unprincipled, vindictive liar in the Vice President's office. We certainly don't need another one.
