Today, the big Festival takes place in the Canal District. This is a Worcester neighborhood comprised of a few blocks up and down Green Street, Harding Street, Water Street, and Millbury Street.The Festival is certainly an event worth attending, because the folks who stage this event every year really do a great job. And it's the absolute best time for anyone who has never been to this area of the city to come and check out all the clubs, restaurants, businesses, and even great places to live, all within this one historic section of the city.
Everything starts at 11 am and just keeps ramping up from there! If you start at the new parking garage behind Union Station, you'll already be there. But don't dally around the house too long, pondering whether to go or not, because by the time 5 pm rolls around, you'll have missed it!
