It's taken me all of a day and a half to really gain any sense of anything actually being over. So far, the new millennium has been anything but boring. Obama's win is still sinking in for me.
Around the local blogosphere, though, plenty of posts have caught my eye. Victor Infante was on it in less than an hour after Obama's speech. 4rilla was pretty quick, too, but it's difficult to figure out how the timestamp works on his blog. Papamoka, of course, has been busy. Mark Adler at Shrewsburied had this to say. LB at Wormtown Punk Punk echoes my sentiments. Unicow up at Progressive Fitchburg is quite happy, and embedded an Indian video that just completely blows me away! ...And Sharilee congratulated Obama, despite being horrified at the prospect of his Presidency.
For myself, I'm certainly happy that Obama won. Mostly, though, I'll not really feel it's over until Dubya is out of office in January. That warmongering mofo still has plenty of time to eff things up even more than they already are... And can't ya just wait for the string of pardons he'll be giving?
