The trouble with most "faux meat" veggie dishes is that, not only do they not satisfy meat eaters, they usually taste like shit to just about everyone. Heh... Of course, if it costs ten times more than the meat it's a substitute for, those who buy it will force themselves to eat every last bit.
The ARTichoke coop at 800 Main St is selling Tofurkies for $11 a pop. I bought two for my vegan Thanksgiving. We had Thanksgiving a week early this year at my house. The tofurky and sweet potato casserole was great.

Not that there will be any $100 fake turkeys on my table--that money buys a hell of a lot of great, non-creepy food.
