I shot this picture this morning around quarter of nine.

It's on Southbridge Street at the intersection of Hope Ave.

This is an ongoing series, I think, and might be connected to the trench they dug a block away near Tracy Place a week ago Monday.

But whatever the work is all about, it's a great traffic maker...

They were just beginning on the inbound side of the street this morning when I took that picture.

But later on around 1 pm, I had to go through there again...

This picture came out a lot better, since the sun wasn't directly above the shot.

I haven't been through here much in the last few weeks, so I think I've missed a bunch of work being done at that intersection. From the looks of it in the picture, there seems to be a huge new section of patch that I was driving on when I took the picture, plus a narrow trench that runs inbound and out of the frame.

So, apparently, there's been some serious bump installation work going on here for a while...
