Summer Nationals, cont'd

It's impossible to drive through Lincoln Square and not see the signs of the holiday weekend's big event.

When I went through and onto Major Taylor Boulevard around quarter of one this afternoon, they still hadn't blocked off the street yet, though.

The fences were up on the median, and had been for a couple of hours.

And they had blocked off the entrance to the Big Johnson Tunnel a couple of days before.

Bleacher construction around the outlet of the tunnel had also gotten underway as of this morning, too.

But there's one sight that definitely says there will be a lot of people milling around here this weekend...

Heh.

I'm surprised that they didn't go with the Presidential Restroom Series Trailer here.

...or maybe even the 14 foot or 16 foot Olympic model?

Please tell me that Bobby is gonna have a Lobsta Roll Trailer set up on Main St. Mmmmm...nothin' like breathing in rubber smoke and eatin' lobsta rolls.

If you eat that lobsta you might need the presidential restroom trailer. Hope you don't use a wheelchair...it's not accessible (neither are the one's in Jeff's snapshot).
