Around 11 o'clock this morning, I spotted this drilling rig on Lincoln Street, just after Marsh Ave and before Corning Ave.This is something I don't recall seeing before... drilling into the middle of a city street like that.
I can't imagine what it might be about.
Of course, we hardly ever know why they dig into the streets and roads in this city anyway... so why would a drilling operation in the middle of Lincoln Street be any different?

It is the New Mayor's Plan to get more funds for the City !!!!! He is drilling for oil right here in Worcester !!! You know the song,, Black Gold, Texas Tea, Barley kept his family fed,,,,
Is this near a gas station?..if it is....there might be a leak in the underground tanks in which btex (gas) got in the groundwater, which never good. If you see drilling going on like that...its never a good thing
