508 Podcast, episode 100

Everybody piled onto the bus today for the recording of the 100th episode of the 508 Podcast.

Nicole explained the ups and downs of Worcester's street signage to Mike Benedetti, as Tracy looked on.

At the start of our trip in Tatnuck Square, we had Mike, Brendan Melican, Tracy, me, and Drew Wilson. Nicole joined us at Newton Square, and we bounced our way downtown to City Hall.

I shot a bunch of video along the way, and I'll figure out what to do with it over the weekend.

These pictures are frame grabs from the video.

Downtown in front of City Hall we were joined by Kevin Ksen, Bruce "Snowghost" Russell, a fellow I forgot to ask about named Paul, and the inimitable Matt Feinstein who, as it turned out, had brought his guitar... and sang us a song:

You should be able to find the podcast at this link when it comes online.

I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't look have a deer-in-the-headlights look; whoa, that camera gets awful close to the face!

The whole time I was talking about street signs, I was just hoping I wouldn't screw up and have my husband watch it later & say, "No, it's 4.5 inches, not 4!"

Our elder son was watching, and when the camera switched to Brendan, he said, "Hey, dude, I wanna watch Mama!" Which was very sweet, and I'm sure he's the only person who felt that way.

I can't wait for the David Lynch version.
