Members of my family chastised me today for not posting anything for so long.
It's not like I couldn't have had my wife bring me the laptop, though...
Nothing major has happened on this end, I'm just weaker now and getting up and down from various daily perches became more difficult than ever. We've made ongoing changes, beginning with the stairlift, and continuing along to more mundane little things like making the couch higher off the floor, so that I can simply get up from it.
My brother made the platform to raise up the couch today and got it installed. Jon is an absolutely wonderful guy, AND he's a carpenter.. how can I go wrong?
I'm doing this post with the iBook, which doesn't include my e-mail. If anyone has sent me an e-mail in the past week, I'm sorry that I haven't answered. Tomorrow, I'll check and see if I can get into and out of the blogging position without assistance and try to rectify any impediments to that...
Life in the breakdown lane is difficult, but not impossible.

Sooooooooo good to see you here today! Like many others, I feared the worst and was expecting to see a blog from Kathy soon. Thank God He is sparing you for a little longer. Your blog is the second thing of the day that I look forward to. First, is waking up! haha. Really though. while I have my morning coffee at the computer, I check your blog first before going on to the news and emails, etc. When I saw you here this morning I actually felt a 'lift'. Thank you for holding on and sharing.
