One thing that's definitely worse is being bed-ridden in a hospital bed IN A HOSPITAL, where you get sleep deprivation techniques that are rivaled by none, and you get treated like a lab rat.

There were people who I've had a virtual connection to via the blog for a long time, but who I had yet to meet...  but I finally got to meet today.

Generally, now, I get a decent chunk of sleep at night in bed, and another one or two chunks during the day on the couch.  It's apparently adequate for me, because I don't feel sleep deprived the way I did during that nightmare week in the hospital, back in July.

In the late 1950's and early 1960's at Rosetti's drug store soda fountain in Grafton Center, Blennd was one of the more popular fountain drinks on a hot summer day (at least for me!).

I mean, how can you tell a pit bull?  Is it a full bred pit bull?...  Well, no such thing.  So, it can't be a half pit bull, either.

I had gotten up around 5am this morning, grabbed an Ensure and took my morning meds, only to nod out on the couch watching the news a short time later.  

But then, BA-BOOM!!!

It triggered a dream wherein the thunder was actually a terrific explosion.
